Who we are
This website is operated by CHETNY, MB, a small partnership registered in Lithuania (“Chetny”, “we”, “us”). We are the data controller for personal data processed through this website and when you contact us.

What this website collects
This is a static website. It does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers or third-party embeds, and all fonts and files are served from our own server.
Like any web server, our hosting may record standard technical logs — IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time of the request. These logs are used only to keep the site secure and working, and are kept no longer than necessary for that purpose.
When you contact us
If you email us or message us on LinkedIn, we receive your name, contact details and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and, if we work together, to prepare and carry out our agreement.
Legal basis: taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, performing a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) and (f)).
Apps we publish
If CHETNY, MB publishes a mobile or web application, the data that app collects and the reasons for it are described in the app’s store listing (for example, the App Privacy section on the App Store) and, where needed, in an app-specific privacy notice. Where nothing else is stated, the principles in this policy apply.
Work we do for clients
When we build or operate software for a client, any personal data inside that system is processed on the client’s behalf and under their instructions. In that case the client is the data controller and we act as a data processor.
Sharing your data
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers we need to run this website and our email (such as hosting and email providers), or when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that don’t lead to a project are deleted when they are no longer needed. Correspondence and records related to a contract are kept for as long as accounting and other legal obligations require.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to restrict or object to its processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email smiltis@chetny.eu.
You can also lodge a complaint with the Lithuanian supervisory authority, the State Data Protection Inspectorate (vdai.lrv.lt).
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
